Love Her Don’t Be Her Monster – Poem Expressing Girl’s Pain

Love Her Don’t Be Her Monster – Poem Expressing Girl’s Pain

She created a list of her monsters,

He saw the cuts on her hands,

Of everyone who broke her once,

And burned her precious promised land.

She created a list of her monsters,

He wanted her to forget them all,

Between her monsters and herself,

He decided to create a wall.

She created a list of her monsters,

There was something missing in between,

He was so lost in trying to fix her,

He didn’t see where I fitted in.

She created a list of her monsters,

He saw the list was so long,

He felt her pain and went to her,

Pacifying he asked her to live along.

She created a list of her monsters,

He helped her to forget all of them,

He wondered why did she forget me,

Then he realized he was one of them.

Hold her when you are ready to love her,

Not when you want to bed her, Don’t be her Monster
